At Gate Hill Day Camp, our archery program is designed for children ages 7 and older. We have age-appropriate equipment and expert instructors to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
No prior archery experience is necessary! Our program is open to beginners and experienced archers alike. Our instructors are skilled at teaching the fundamentals of archery to kids of all skill levels.
Safety is our top priority. Our archery program follows strict safety protocols, including the use of safety gear, closely supervised activities, and comprehensive instruction on safe archery practices. Our instructors are certified in archery safety and first aid.
We provide all the necessary archery equipment, including bows, arrows, targets, and safety gear. Campers are welcome to bring their own equipment if they have it, but it is not required. We ensure that all equipment provided is appropriate for the age and skill level of the campers.
Archery is one of the many exciting activities offered at Gate Hill Day Camp. While your child can certainly participate in archery, they will also have the opportunity to explore a variety of other activities, including sports, arts and crafts, swimming, and more. Our goal is to provide a well-rounded and fun summer camp experience for every child.
We maintain a low instructor-to-camper ratio to ensure personalized attention and safety. Typically, there is one instructor for every six to eight campers during archery activities, allowing for individualized coaching and guidance.
