This arts and sciences program is designed for children who want to explore their interests in the creative arts and sciences, yet still want to take advantage of the offerings of a traditional camp setting.
Explorers campers spend their morning in exclusive week long workshops of their choice.
These are based on 5 core categories: Science and Technology, Creative and Digital Arts, Strategic Games, Music and Theatre, and History and Social Science The balance of their day consists of two swim periods, a traditional camp elective, one group activity, and of course lunch & snack. In fact, nearly the whole day is choice periods.
Our Science and Technology program sparks young minds’ curiosity, offering hands-on experiments and technological adventures.
In Creative and Digital Arts, aspiring artists and digital creators unleash their creativity through various mediums, from painting to digital design.
Strategic Games provide a challenge, with chess tournaments and brain-teasing puzzles that engage young strategic thinkers.
Kids discover their musical and theatrical talents in our Music and Theatre program, where they can participate in ensembles, productions, and even compose their own pieces.
History and Social Science enthusiasts dive into the past and explore the complexities of society through immersive historical reenactments, debates, and cultural exploration at Gate Hill Day Camp.
